3.5 to 4 stars.

It had its ups and downs. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I wanted it to be grittier and more in depth. But I guess I should have known it would be a light easy read being a young adult. But I did enjoy the read and I want to continue reading the series to see where the story goes. I think it will get better as the series goes on.

This book took me a while to get into, and most of the plot twists were incredibly predictable, but it was still a good book and I plan to enjoy the rest of the series in the near future.

I actually really enjoyed this book! I guessed what would happen in the end but that's always what it's like in these sort of books
