omg just realised i could add these...saur cute and bubbly and fun! fluff in the purest sense of the word, but with the character and world-building to back it up. still don't really jive with the villain(s), but i'll give it time for the author to reveal more about them and their motivations. anyway this entire manga will receive the same rating because i don't have a particular attachment to it—EXCEPT for whichever volume has the musical arc. that musical turned my pussy OUT.

(feels kinda weird saying the word "pussy" in this context but it really is the best phrase for the occasion.)

Such a fun hilarious read! I loved every second of this, and I'm so glad it's a long series because I want all of the Iruma Kun I can get.

Ok so I began watching Iruma kun as an anime back when it first aired but I then immediately moved onto the manga. I really enjoyed the gang being up to no good and seeing Iruma progress to being the "demon lord" that Sullivan wanted him to be as his "grandson". I really liked a lot of the characters surrounding Iruma like I didnt actually mind at first having a lot of them because they really blended the story well and I always got a chuckle from every chapter as it can be seriously funny. However that all changed recently when the author decides to add even more characters by sticking them in there without context and not involving the charms around the story it once had. It was if author-san just completely went to a complete different direction from what I thought was all going to be about Irumas goal. It's becoming even more draggy now which is disappointing because I've read this manga for a long time now like I thought it had potential but nope, not anymore for me....

Iruma Suzuki finds himself in a bit of a pickle when his parents sell his soul! So he goes to the demon world and is immediately adopted by a grandfatherly demon who takes care of him but also is making him go to demon school. He can't be found out though or the demons might eat him! This first volume is full of hijinks and adventure and I can't wait to see what the next volumes hold!

In perspective this first volume maybe deserves a lower rating, but I come from the anime (and I'm reading this to catch up with the manga) and I absolutely love this story, so I give it 4 stars.

This first volume is absolutely introductory, the story is very simplistic (come on, you know, the plot it's quite not a marvel), but easy to read, the characters are quite stereotypical, but the fun is the humor with which it is written. As I'm up to date with the anime, I can say that Iruma-kun it's a very entertaining story, you get attached to the characters and it gets better with each arc, so, please, give this manga a chance, guaranteed laughs.
