LOVE these series!
I had to force myself to put the book down, it was just that good.
Loved the book and everything about it.
Thank you Mr. Smith for creating and writing such wonderful books for my enjoyment.

What a bittersweet feeling to finally be finished with this series. It really was a well-done series overall, but it definitely had some low points that made me question whether or not to continue. However, happily, this final installment was a definite high point for the series! I loved this final chapter in Alex’s journey of stopping Furnace once and for all. It felt appropriately action-packed, it wasn’t unnecessarily complicated, it had well-rounded characters, and it brought a sense of finality to the characters and the series as a whole.

Was planning on giving this four stars, but the ending totally made up for the last star. =)

After getting through all 5 of the "escape From Furnace" books, I can see a good story there, it just was too drawn out. 5 books really could have been 2. Without the repetitive nature of the books as well as mindless filler that presented itself starting in book 2, these books could have gotten a better rating.

Best series I've read in a while. No spoilers, but it had me hooked wanting to know what was going on and hooked NEEDING to know how it would end. I even bought two of the 5 books because the library didn't have them and I needed to finish it.

I can't believe it took me a month to read this book?! That's not a reflection on the book though.

I'm so sad that this series has ended now because I don't want to let go of the characters, but it came to a beautiful conclusion. I did cry for the majority of the book, especially the last 50 pages.
