Another absolutely hilarious novel from comedian David Walliams. Brits will get this more, as Walliams, in all his books, portrays British life in the eyes of a misfit child. It's fantastic, the characters are so out-of-this-world and funny. And the ending is amazingly funny. RatBurger is a classic bit of crazy children's' literature.

This was such a fast read on audio book and I liked how David wallialms was the one that read the audiobook as he made the book come to life more and the different voices he did were really good as well. David always writes such good children’s books and I like how he tells each and every story. The only character I hated in this book was the shop assistant Raj he seems to be in every book and he doesn’t need to be at all. The characters in this book are all written well and I liked how the main character and her dad got back there father and daughter relationship back and that the dad went back into the ice cream business. The step mum was a bit mean and evil in this book and I wasn’t a fan of hers at all.xxx

For such a long time, I have wanted to read the David Walliams books so for my birthday this year, my family bought me a book set of 5 of his books.

I started off with Ratburger and by the name of the book I'm sure you have a rough idea of what kind of goes on in the story. This book was funny and I can imagine it being right up the street of school kids.

It's hard not to like the main character Zoe. Every child has that one dream and who are we to stop them from trying to succeed with it. The story was fun and the illustrations were great to look at.

Growing up i was a massive Jaqueline Wilson fan and now that I work in a school I like to keep up to date with the latest kids books so I can chat about them if they are ever mentioned to me. I look forward to reading the rest of them.
