This book made me feel lonely (respectfully).

There were so many times where Heywood would recount interactions with her parents that made my drop my jaw and say, "What the fuck".

Reminded me in many respects of Tara Westover’s ‘Educated’ - a young girl persevering through hardship to get an education and a life over which she had control. An inspiring read.
