One of the better volumes in the series.

too many words, too much paranoia, too little editing

The storyline is getting a little bit unbelievable but I'm going to continue to see where it goes.

My least favorite Scarpetta so far. Which is sad since I really love Lucy and Benton and all people this book focused on. The problem I had is ****Spoilers look no further***

All of her loved ones were lying to her. And the only time I felt as insane as Scarpetta felt in the book is when I was going thru a divorce and all my loved ones were lying to me. It isn't a good feeling and made this a miserable book to read.
