Y’ALL NEED THIS!

I cannot even begin to describe what James just did.
This took me left, made a HARD right, did some donuts, made me scream.
Ok, maybe that was my car ride with my husband driving, but it’s similar to what happened while I read this.
I just don’t have the words to describe the story, but I will say this.
Not many books leave an imprint the way this one did.
Tori & Jude hit places I didn’t know existed.
So thank you for messing up my mind, and leaving a mark on this heart.
I won’t be forgetting this anytime soon.

OMG what an amazing book! It gripped me from the beginning and it never let me go. I don‘t even have words to describe it. I never knew what to expect next and I haven‘t cried so much in a long time!

A masterpiece from Monica James!

I felt all the butterflies!

I chased them, I caught them and I let them fly away to their happily ever after reading this beautifully written story by Author Monica James.

My stomach flipped & fell in love with finding that true love which can be found when you least except it and in the most imperfect out of this world way.

This book gave all the feels.

I loved every moment I sat down and read this magnificent story that comes to life off the pages.

I feel soo ALIVE & FULL of love after reading this book!

Let me start off by saying “CAN I HAVE MY HEART BACK???”

Chase the Butterflies was raw, emotional, and heartfelt! It was unlike anything I’ve ever read before. I can’t say how many times my jaw dropped while reading this or how many times I said “WTF” while turning the pages.

Monica....BRILLIANT! ♥️♥️

This is a very unique story, and now I get why the author wasn’t really sure, what genre to put on this book. It covers a whole lot of different things.

This is a highly emotional read, which will you have in need for a lot of handkerchiefs. Be prepared! Monica James just knows how to suck you into a story, and this one is no exception.

I kindly received an arc from the author and voluntarily left a review

I kind of went into this book blind and didn’t look at the description or any of the early ARC reviews.. and I’m so glad I did it that way. This is the first book I’ve read by Monica James and after seeing/hearing so many wonderful things about her writing, I had to try it out for myself.

This book seemed different to her previous ones; with the concept and the storyline. I loved it. It really hit home with the characters and their journeys together. I can’t give too much away because it’ll spoil the surprise about halfway through. It’s a story of strength and how people can come together in their most desperate times of need.

Thank you to Monica James for writing this because it really makes to think about life and how much can change in a matter of seconds. I really felt like the writing was very personal and extremely emotional, coming from the heart. A really gorgeous read.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book. I’m not one to read blurbs and I love all of Monica’s books. This one took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride that I didn’t expect. If I could I would honestly give this book a million stars. It is so worth it and I know I will be recovering from my book hangover for a long time.

Victoria’s life changed in an instant. One little moment forever changed the course of her life. Jude was a bit of a mystery, throughout you could tell there was something off about him, but just couldn’t place it. However, the chemistry between Victoria and Jude was electric. I loved it. I loved them. The change in Victoria throughout the story was inspiring and Jude helped her realize so much about herself. The more and more I learned about Jude the more I loved him. I wanted to hug him. Like Victoria, I was under his charm and you can’t help but feel drawn to him.

Chase the Butterflies is completely addicting and captivating. There are so many twists and turns throughout the story that will surprise you. This is an emotional story that will tug on your heart strings and leave you completely breathless.

“Does the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas? The Butterfly Effect ~ Edward Lorenz

I knew this was a book I’d love and fall in love with even before I read it. I took the advice and read blindly as possible (which kind of makes this review moot, although it’s really not).

I don’t feel like my words are sufficient right now to fully express how much the effect Chase The Butterflies has impacted on me.
I’ve read some amazing books that will stay with me, but this one: THIS BOOK WILL CHANGE ME. Words are a powerful medium and when a writer with the gift of creating spell binding literary magic like Monica James does; something of unique and astounding beauty is created.

“I can see into his soul, and what I see is beautiful.”

Jude Montgomery is an angel among men and Victoria is the girl that changes her destiny. Two unforgettable characters that have taken me on a journey into the unknown. It was a journey that felt SPIRITUAL and it evoked emotions that overwhelmed me at times; and even after crying what felt like bucketloads of tears I feel oddly at peace and fulfilled. My heart was so full it burst, yet still it beats; it beats a new rhythm- to life.

Monica James, you’ve given me an ember of hope; the tiniest flicker rising from a pile of ashes that becomes to an all consuming inferno that brings rebirth, and new beginnings. What a truly UNIQUELY BEAUTIFUL and most ASTOUNDING BOOK.

10/10 HEART FLUTTERING STARS
