Really enjoyed this. The family dynamic was well written and I loved the revival at the end. Especially the relationship improving with Nicole and Linda :)

The dark sense of humour and chaotic plot lines made the topic of a family falling apart very readable.

The essence was the fact that it showed the characters rediscovering themselves in their 60s and 30s which is often a time associated with “settling down” or what I would refer to as a beige part of life.
Weirdly, I was most drawn to the Mum, Linda and the son Jamie who were the quieter members of the family who broke the moulds of being the subdued members without completely changing their personalities.

I have rated this so highly as I read this instantly in three days - which took me by surprise as I was initially put off by the topic.
