While at times I struggled a bit to follow the book, I think that had more to do with my current difficulty focusing than the book itself. I found it just the right balance of silly and whimsical and heartfelt and genuine. It does give Hitchhiker's Guide vibes, but in a queer, musical rock band way.
Moderate: Grief
Minor: Death, Drug abuse, Drug use, Mental illness, Racism, Sexual content, Violence, Vomit, Islamophobia, Car accident, Colonisation, War, Classism, and Deportation

Take Hitchhikers guide, remove the nihilism, add the Eurovision Song Contest, and make it queer.
Graphic: Grief
Moderate: Death, Toxic friendship, Colonisation, and Deportation
Minor: Genocide, Car accident, Alcohol, and Classism
The list of content warnings belies how joyful and funny this is. The emotions are real but it is not bleak.
