I pretty much liked Rafe Locke the best! But I am worried about reading his book because I heard his wasn't as good. Ah well. I always find Lindsey's books to progress a little too rapidly, but I did enjoy this one.

I had seen a lot of bad reviews for this book and I was a bit skeptical to start it.
But surprisingly I found it an okay first read, though I may not recommend it for a second read.
Its a long time since I read a historical romance, so I just devoured the language and settings described in this book.
I would recommend it to lovers of historical romances who need a quick fix

I thought this was a cute story. I liked that they were friends first.

Johanna Lindsey is an author I have read for many years and while her books are not amazing they are a good solid rainy afternoon escape. I think the best part of her books are the characters who are multi-faceted and keep me engaged in the book.

I was completely charmed by this one! It is rare that I like a heroine that is Disney princess level cheery, but I am in love with Sabrina!

Just as lovely and cute as I remembered it. This was the first romance I ever read back in 2001. Loved it. I did not read the other books about the Reid Family so I plan to read them this year as well.
