While this was stronger than book 2, the complaints I had from that book continue here. It was a little more interesting, hence the extra half star, but I am pretty ready to move on from some of these characters. Jack especially. He's such a bland baddie!

I don’t know what inspired me to finally finish this book a whole year after starting it. I got stuck in the middle and put it aside because the greater first half of the book was so so boring if I remember correctly. The last 200 pages were ok but I just wasn’t invested anymore. It’s disappointing though because the first book was really really good. It’s just a series that had a lot of potential, but it was originally supposed to be like a duology or a trilogy I think? And I think if it had stayed that way it would have been awesome. When the fourth comes out I think I want to see how it ends though. Maybe it will redeem itself.

I felt this one dragged a little bit more than the others but was still a pretty good book.
And like the other two books, the last chapters got me on the edge of my seat!!!!!

There was finally some forward progress in all timelines! Also, ❤️ Esta & Harte :) Can’t wait to see how this whirlwind of a story concludes - wishing for happy endings!!!
