Wow this was a different story that i would read but this was a amazing read that had me hooked from the very first page tell the ending. This is a very intense read that will have you wanting to read in one setting.

**** SOUND OF SILENCE was an interesting twist combining aliens and zombies in one story.
Although I felt a slight lack in character/bond building; which is typically why I don't like short stories

I understand that this is a ya novel but come on... He's hot so he's trust worthy... Really? What is it with YA novels? Dumb teenage girls picks the hot guy because he's hot and that means he will help her. Again, I like the premise but the story is not that engaging enough. I've read kids books that are way more engaging and thought provoking. The "zombie" take in this is again interesting but it just doesn't hold it's weight. I really wanted to like this. Three stars because I was able to get thought it and points for originality but I wouldn't read it again.
