Meg Anne and K. Loraine left me hanging on a cliff by a thread with the last book…And then put me back together with this one. Mostly anyway. The storyline is getting thicker and thicker with this one. The twists keep coming, dropping my jaw to the floor. The spice within this book had me melting so many times. Like I wanted to go sit in my freezer type hot. Watching the changes and growth occurring in these characters is weird combination of heartbreaking delight. Rosie shows her resilience and innate character strength in this book, making me love her even more. Gavin surprised me in how much I enjoyed his character in this book. Surrendering himself to providing what Rosie needs was fabulous to watch. Normally I would go through and tell you what it was about each main character that endeared them to me, but I feel if I did so here I would give something away. So instead I will just say, I adore all her men. Except for Pan…He still has room for growth. (Mental and emotional that is.) The ending shook me and I cannot wait for the next part of this story!

Just try putting this book down! If you've been invested in the series, you know to expect a few twists and turns, and Kim and Meg do not disappoint in this continuation of the series. All the spice! All the stars to these 2 amazing storytellers!

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Captive of the Night by Meg Anne and K. Loraine is a why choose paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Teddy Hamilton, J.F. Harding, John Hartley, Stella Hunter, James Joseph, Jacob Morgan, and Jason Clarke. This is the third book in The Mate Games: Pestilence series.

I absolutely love the Mate Games World! Meg and Kim do an amazing job pulling me into the story. I can't help but binge in each book in one sitting. I love that we got Pan, Remi, Ben, Gavin, Rosie, Asher, and Lilith's points of views throughout the book. It really brings the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Lost to the Moon to be released on May 22, 2023.

I absolutely love that they do a full cast of narrators for this series. It really brings the story to life. You can't help but binge the audiobook in one sitting.

I would recommend this series if you like paranormal romances, why choose romances, or fated mate's romances.
