Indie style wheel of time

The work that clearly goes into these stories is incredible. Pretty much every book has a tie in to one of his others and I love that. Can’t wait for the next book so I can keep filling in my knowledge of this awesome world that the author has so carefully built.

Threads come together

Ss2 brings you you're favorite Detective doing what he does best, unwittingly getting caught up in situations he doesn't want anything to do with. But what really pushed this entry are all the threads woven from the other books in the Arand universe starting to coalesce and provide answers and insights to all our burning questions. 5/5 would contract again.

Notes:

The characters (including new ones) are cool but there's too many events + people to make them develop into anyone I care about. The plot progression was awkward & not suspenseful or felt like fixing a case. Very awkward transition piece. On the fence about getting the next book when it comes out on audio.
