I absolutely loved reading this book to my precious baby girl. Who is also red headed and blue eyed and a fierce little goddess just like the main character in the illustrations. This is a very empowering book for little girls and I’m thankful to add it to our growing collection.

This read was great! I felt it is such an amazing book to have little girls read! I wish it was longer but still great for those budding girls!! The artwork was great too!

I'm very grateful for Goodreads and the publisher for the giveaway and providing a finished copy of this book. *This does not impact my review in any way.*
This book is super cute. I love the illustrations and the message being sent across. But. From reading the synopsis before receiving the book, I had thought there would be a little more substance. There aren't a lot of words and there are a good deal of the pages that are repeated as she wakes up/goes to bed. (Okay, it's a kid book. I know. But it is targeted to ages 4-8.)
I did really like that the little girl in the story talked about kindness.
Then again, I do not have children. Nor do I know what kids like. I'm sure this would be a cute book to share with them anyway.

I can get behind this one. Love the title, love the message. I foresee a little cousin receiving this in the future. 🌞

It's a good intro to a more feminist approach, but maybe I've been steeped in too much "girl power" to be totally moved by this one. Great to have, but not breaking any new ground.

This red headed girl is wonderful. This girl greets the sun, the earth and wind daily. She appreciates everything in her day and this makes her present and powerful. I love the simplicity of the little quick story. She is a defender of the weak, a warrior. This is a great beginning book of being empowered and living in the world. I loved it. I need to own this book and read it often to remind myself of the power of appreciating everything.
You know I love a rhyming story. Give me more. Adult books should use rhyming. It hits a happy place inside me still.
The nephew didn’t care for this one bit. He didn’t want to read it and he didn’t like it at all. There was nothing in here for him. He gave it 1 star. So it goes. He was in a mood and I think that had something to do with it.
