What even is evil, like this is a book I can't forget 10 years after reading it. A strong independent woman who is just that ambitious?

Great book to get to know Sidney Sheldon and his thrillers, and this was a treat to read. So many plot twists in a family empire. I really enjoyed how Sheldon gives all main characters the right amount of time to get to know each of them. Truly a page turner.

It's been a long time since I last read Sheldon. Reading this book was like rediscovering the magic of falling completely into his stories. I didn't read this book, I lived it. Fast paced, interesting, suspense filled, in fact an absolute wonder!
The kind of book you read in one sitting. Something I certainly would have done so if not for other pressing engagements.

It's a classic. It's like watching a 70s movie. Writting is fast, you can read in one go if you want. There are fantastic twist & turns, you may be able to guess some but not all. Overall there is balance in story and the turns it takes , so It doesn't seem too ridiculous.

First part was fun, but the new characters were all intolerable and the plot was too much.

It is one the greatest novel that I've read from Sheldon. He truly is The master of game. This book is about four generations of a family. It begins from the far past and continues to the modern world and shows us how this specific family evolves during this time. It is very realistic and I'm sure you won't be tired of it.
