I was not expecting to love Ophelia as much as I did. Getting into Augie's head is so great if you've been living in this world since the High days.
Scythe/Vincent is a delight as always and spending time with Banjo, Lacey, Luna, Colt, and Rafe was so wonderful.

Oh my lanta! THIS BOOK people!!
I don’t even know where to begin lol. I loved it so much and could not put it down…which is how it always goes when I read anything from the Saint View series!
I was happy to finally get Augie’s story! If you have been reading the Saint View series you will know him from Banjo’s book back in Saints View High and what he did in that book that had everyone hating him. So to get his side of the story now was something I have been wanting forever now! And he didn’t disappoint. I loved him and his misguided ways. You just felt for him, he was doing what he thought was best in everything he did. You got to see how he was trying to make up for things with his brother Banjo by his behavior and efforts in trying to find Fawn. *Side note: I need FAWN’S BOOK even more now from reading this one!*
Ophelia, this tough cookie. She surprised me. I was expecting her to be who she was and who she was siblings with. I just love how all these books are connected, I love this Saint View world! But my goodness was she dealt with an even worse hand at parents/upbringing than Augie was! Can I just say I was happy that her brother did what he did at the end but I wanted him to do more to their mother!
Seeing Augie and Ophelia’s relationship grow into what it was, was so fun to read!
I couldn’t put this book down. I was freaking out with all the suspense and everything that goes down. And then you hit me with that epilogue!

Nothing good happened in Saint View. And I was part of why. Darkness took everything I touched. Everyone I loved.
I love Saint View. This whole world that Elle Thorpe has created is amazing and the latest book in the Saint View Strip series is testament to that. We first met Augie in the Saint View High series and he might not be THE villain, but he's definitely not a good guy. When he popped up in the Strip series, I was hoping he would get a chance to redeem himself and he surely does in this story. Augie only ever had his brothers best interests at heart but he tried to look out for Banjo using what he knew - and that wasn't a lot for a boy abandoned by his parents and left to the foster system. Killer Kiss gives us a chance to see why Augie was the way he was and give him a heroine that will challenge him and give him what he needs - and that is the sister of Saint View fave Scythe/Vincent: Ophelia. I really love Lia(Ophelia) for Augie - she is the perfect counterbalance for him and despite her very unusual family, I was hoping these two could sort out their troubles!
I really loved this book and I cannot wait for the final instalment - I need to know if Fawn will ever get a HEA ...
