Everly just has a way making characters fall in love with each other and it's just magical. Rose and Trevor were just amazing characters to read about and I can't wait to read more from Everly.

Second chance romance but they weren't actually together properly the first time.

Best to read series in order as events in book 1 introduce the Hero and heroine of this book.
I couldn't remember who they were to each other or what happened at first.
It's explained in chapter 3 but prior to that the heroine is expressing she trepidation at seeing the Hero and I didn't know why, so that was a bit confusing.

Single dad.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
Some pushing away from the Hero.
Secondary characters introduced for future books in series.

HEA.

Another small-town romance featuring a single dad with precocious kids. This was a good read - we got to know more of the Barrett family as Rose, Lily's identical twin gets her HEA with her deceased husband's ex-partner. It looks like each book in the series will feature a sweet romance with some heat (this was definitely sexier than Lily's, but Rose is a self-proclaimed perv so there's that) and an external conflict that OTT. In this one, we have Trevor's dead almost-ex-wife's lover that she took for a fool who shot him, made bail and then tried to kidnap his daughter from school before getting the beat-down from Rose and her sister Violet.
