Easy reading with a compelling - if not entirely believable - plot. Just suspend your rational mind and enjoy the implausible spectacle of it all.

It’s amazing how much better Peter Swanson’s older books are. I really loved all the twists and turns of this book. The main character was really pathetic though.

It's been awhile since I've read a straight up nurse mystery. I enjoyed the plot and characters, but it was a little drawn out. Also, there better be a second book, because there was zero closure.

The book started off slow and boring and seemingly predictable. Then I got caught in a twist and became interested. But then the book became predictable again.

This was definitely not the book for me. I suppose I’m not as interested in YA as I once was. I found it hard to enjoy the story, even though I liked the dual timeline approach. I didn’t like the characters, as they were all pretty manipulative and enabling of one another (especially George).
