Yasmin and Nixon had so much chemistry but she wouldn’t give him the time of day. Their best friends were dating so they would run into each other at times. Yasmin Gad no time for the star quarterback but little did they know that they both had secrets and end up being each other’s crutch. It was a slow burn but when secrets were revealed they were definitely each other’s shoulders. They both had similar demons and one was going thru a tragic loss. Yasmin was there for Nixon all the time he needed her and vice versa. But the difference with them was at one point Nixon seemed to be self destructing. Yasmin have the heart of gold forgave him and he did everything in his power to make her happy. It was emotional and yet so beautiful.

Anne B. Doe is becoming one of my favorites author.
I listened to this story which was narrated by Raquel Beattie and Troy Duran. Like "Kiss to Conquer" this duo narration was perfect for this story. I love Troy Duran's deep voice and the Spanish accent of Raquel Beattie was perfect for Yasmin in this story.
Yasmin and Nixon aren't meant to be together mostly because Yasmin is trying to avoid Football Player. But that's hard now that their mutual bestfriends are together. Nixon is always trying to push Yasmin's button since he discover one of her secrets.
I loved both Yasmin and Nixon's personality. They don't want to be invovle but at some point they are going to be and when they're together, they're tender and sweet.
I really enjoyed, as usual with this author, all the vibes around Nixon's roommates, and how Callie got involves with Nixon. In the last book they got close, so she doesn't hold back to tell him what she's thinking.
What I also appreciated was the bond that Nixon got with his family, and Yasmin with her mother.
It was funny, emotionals. I was really into it, so I can say like the other books of this series that I recommend this one too.

Kiss To Forget centers around Yasmin and Nixon who are both struggling with their own personal issues which they are not willing to share with anyone else. In the earliest chapters, they didn't really start off on good terms but everything changed when they accidentally stumbled onto each other's problem.
Overall, this book was written very beautifully with the proper amount of angst that will break the reader's heart. The relationship between Yasmin and Nixon is very genuine that will literally make readers believe how pure their love truly is. I didn't expect this book to be so emotional, which made it so much enjoyable for me. I think Anna did a great job in delivering this story and I truly recommend for everyone to try and read this book. Totally worth it!

I liked the storyline, but this somehow Yasmin felt extremely stubborn in a way I didn't like.

What a book! [a:Anna B. Doe|16835123|Anna B. Doe|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1589840091p2/16835123.jpg] made me suffer and cry a lot with this story, but it also made me love Nixon & Yasmin, their love story, their individual characters and their stories so much more, as well as understand much better everything behind Jade's personality, so these three are in my top 5 favorite characters in the series and definitely Kiss to Forget is my second favorite at Blairwood University after [b:Kiss To Belong|53420997|Kiss To Belong (Blairwood University, #5)|Anna B. Yasmin was incredible, a very intelligent, hard-working girl who knows very well what she wants, with a strong, brave personality and a huge secret that not even her close friends know about, plus she have a BEAUTIFUL relationship with his mother and with whom I identify a lot! I loved reading about Yasmin's kind heart, how she was always willing to help Nixon from the beginning and what a good friend she always is to Callie & Grace, her family history is difficult and it's one of the things that broke my heart about her, but I loved her attitude to the situation, her efforts to support her mom and make her proud.
Nixon stole my heart from the first time I read him, which made me suffer much more with all the personal situation he lives, he's a flirty boy, a womanizer, the quarterback of Blairwood and one of the most popular on campus, but there is a side to his personality that hardly anyone knows, besides the fact that he hides his pain from those close to him, he cares infinitely for his mother and his younger sister Jade, and from the first moment he saw Yasmin he couldn't help being attracted to her, although she is not at all interested in knowing him.
These guys had quite the journey: Nixon & Yasmin meet when both are in a dark moment and a bit lost in their own lives, their relationship doesn't start out easy : Yasmin does everything possible to get away from him, especially when Nixon discovers what she hides, but fate keeps bringing them together at the least expected moments, that's why without wanting it Yasmin also discovers what Nixon hides and both end up being each other's only support, the only refuge and someone they can count on unconditionally when they need it most.
Personally, I really enjoyed reading these two know each other, discover their feelings and fall madly in love with each other, as I said, my heart was also very broken with both of them, but I loved the way in which Nixon allowed himself to be vulnerable in front of Yasmin, how he let her help him , Jade and her mom, and while I didn't love his decisions towards the end of the book, I did love that he didn't take long to admit his mistake and look for fix the situation he got himself into. For her part, I really enjoyed reading Yasmin opening up to Nixon and trusting him with her feelings, supporting not only him but his family, and being one of the strongest characters I've read so far.

A Heartwrenching Tale of Love and Secrets in "Kiss to Forget" by Anna B. Doe
"Kiss to Forget" is the second installment in the Blairwood University series by Anna B. Doe. This story centers around Yasmin and Nixon, whose lives couldn't be more different from each other. Yasmin is a hardworking student who comes from a single-parent family and has had to work for everything she has. Nixon, on the other hand, is the quintessential all-American sportsman whose life seems to have come easy to him. However, his suave exterior hides a young man with secrets and the weight of the world on his shoulders. When their paths cross, they go from being enemies to lovers, but whose heart will remain intact when their secrets are exposed?
Throughout the story, Yasmin and Nixon face challenges that are larger than themselves, and their resilience is put to the test. The author skillfully portrays their discomfort, fear, and concern for the issues that plague them, making the reader feel every emotion they experience. Additionally, it's refreshing to see strong female characters like Yasmin, who don't fall for the popular guy's charms based on his popularity alone.
Nixon is a surprising male lead with a heavy heart due to his family situation and the guilt he carries. The reader can't help but empathize with him during the story's toughest moments, thanks to the author's ability to convey his emotions so vividly. Doe's writing style is both fluid and engaging, making it difficult to put the book down. This is the second book in the series that I've read, and I can't wait to delve into the next one. There are several secondary characters in the novel that I hope to see further explored in the future.

Yasmin Hernandez doesn’t like players - and she has good reasons for that. She’s the model student - hard working, brilliant, and kind. Blairwood University was supposed to be her fresh start, but no one knows the truth about how it all came to be. Nixon Cole is one of the talented Blairwood Ravens, and he has everything he could possibly want - at least, that’s what people think.
Nixon has been attracted to Yasmin from the moment they met, but she’s determined not to let him anywhere near her heart. They think they’ve got each other all figured out, but when their secrets are unexpectedly revealed, they realize they’re a lot more alike than they think. At first, it was just to forget. But now they can’t let each other go.
This book was another brilliant masterpiece! Yasmin and Nixon’s story was so beautifully written, so agonizingly angsty. While each of them seemed like they had it all, the truth is that they were both hurting deep inside. I loved watching their relationship develop over the course of the novel, watching them go from the constant bickering to the grudging trust to the respect and admiration for each other.
Yasmin. I honestly don’t know how she manages to handle everything that’s on her plate. I loved her because she was sweet and kind, but she also wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself when the situation called for it. Nixon. Oh, this poor, broken man. He is so much more than the player he pretends to be, and I felt so many emotions about him that it gave me whiplash. Nixon and Yasmin are both broken in their own way, but their broken pieces fit perfectly together. I highly recommend!

This is not an ordinary romance story. KTF is a story full of strong themes that Ana brings to the table so that as a reader you can empathize with the situations. The main character is a fighter and just like us Latinas, she has the heart of a warrior. That kind of heart that she can love without measure and protects everyone who enters it. I loved this story because of how the writer handles all the subtopics in a very subtle way but they teach you a lesson. Furthermore, this story drains and drains you into the lives of these incredible characters. From chapter one your heart hooks into the story. Just be careful because it can break it too.
Yasmin Hernandez is a girl with good grades, dedication, a volunteer, and a great catch.
Nixon Cole is the athlete who turns eyes, steals hearts, and wins championships.
Both have their differences but both have a secret that can change things.
Circumstances bring them together, attraction wants to repel them, but secrets unite and separate them at the same time.
Anna improves each book, her characters, her writing style, and the stories she creates. This is the second book in the Blairwood University series, full of sports, adventure, and slow burn romance.
