I'm not the biggest fan of the movie, but wow did the movie do a big favor to this book. It could just be that I'm wildly out of the target demographic of "Chick Lit", and that's fair, but this was often kinda painful to read. Especially the first half, holy shit that sucked. The second half of the book had something like a plot, the characters that remained where kinda likeable, and ultimately reading what amounts to a whole ace attorney bit on page was kinda fun.

Ultimately, I think that by the end of this book I dislike people with blonde hair slightly more. Which is definitely not what it was aiming for.

Legally Blonde is one of my all time favorite movies. I mean, Reese Witherspoon... female empowerment... and romance - amazing! Once I realized the movie was based on a book, I knew I had to read. So glad I did. Book and movie have differences, but overall follow a similar path (unlike some series (cough - CRAZY RICH ASIANS - cough). I just felt the movie was so much better, but that's probably a biased opinion.

Let me tell you I’m 100% disappointed Emmett is not in the book, but I’m 100% a ChristopherxElle shipper now
