Tom King has had an amazing run on Batman since Rebirth started. THIS is why I wanted to start reading comics again. Not just the main Bane story either, which was good. But the two single issue stories included. #23, The Brave and The Mold has to be the best single issue story I've ever read in a Batman comic. And #24 with Catwoman...if you don't know the ending I'm not spoiling it! Bring on The War of Jokes and Riddles!

4.5⭐️'s out of 5.

Issues 16-20 "I am Bane" |5/5|: This arc is extremely good, after Batman attacked Prisca's, Bane is looking forward to destroy him, he goes to Gotham and wants to take home the Psycho Pirate (who's been forced to cure Gotham Girl), Bane goes crazy so he attacks Arkham and destroy every prisoner, then he gets into an epic fight with Batman as flashbacks are being shown.

Issue 24: A prelude to Batman and Catwoman's marriage?

Issue 23: A brief crossover with The Swamp thing, meh.
