She comes from a working-class familiy, that struggles to make ends meet, he comes from a rich political family. The whole story is the question if she’s good enough for him and if he is taking her/their relationship seriously. When one misunderstanding is solved, the next thing happends that let her doubt his true feelings. In between there’s a lot of makeup sex. The speakings voices of the audiobook read those scences quite unenthusiasticly, which made them a bit ridiculous. And than it ends really abruptly, but I’m not sure the cliffhanger is enough to make me listen to the next part.

The saga continues in book 2 - and boy is this one a wild ride. Spencer runs after Charlie have their ups and downs. A story filled with love, affection, lies, scandal and don't forget Charlie being drugged at a house party. In the end, not only had I screamed at the characters numerous times but found myself reading this book all night long. I had to see where the characters ended up. Thank God I had book three already lined up on my kindle as I could not be left on the cliff hanger for long!!

This was okay for me. The writing itself flowed okay, but these characters are getting to be a little too immature for me. Everyone that Spencer is associated with is horrible, except for his sister. I'm not quite sure how he doesn't see, and why he keeps these people in his life. He seems like a good guy, but you're known by the company you keep. Charlie is very stubborn. Just because you pretend things aren't happening, doesn't mean everything is fine. The back and forth of Spencer and Charlie is a little much. I know there are two more books, I'm just hoping for more of a "us against the world" instead of let's act like middle schoolers.

Book two was amazing!! (You need to read the first in the series to know what’s going on) I don’t want to say too much here...don’t want to give anything away...so I’m just going to keep it simple and say I’m so in love with this series!!!!

Addicting plain and simple. Once you start this series you will not be able to stop! This is the second book in this amazing series from Chantal and Frankie.
They have so much stacked against them it’s like they have spent their whole relationship wading through criticism, stalkers, disapproving best friends and parents. It’s like they have the whole world against them and no matter what they do they can’t catch a break.
This book will end on a cliff hanger so either wait till all the books are published or try to wait patiently for the next book release.
