While this one had more of a plot, it was very predictable- but in a comforting kinda I know what to expect and it’s not a disappointment kind of way. Again a LOT of spice- but an easy read non the less.

Perfection. Absolute perfection. I was nervous about this book only because at the end of the last one it seemed like things were working out between Alana and Alejandro. I didn’t want to read a book where everything falls apart. That’s not what this was at all. It gave a deep look into their marriage and adjusting to loving each other. Really well done!

🤍Secret identity
🖤Mafia
🤍Second in a series

Alana and Alejandro’s story continues with the addition of Lucy. There are secret identities, kidnappings, spice, assassination attempts, etc. I did not see the ending twist coming but I felt like overall it was minor compared to some of the other elements we saw in book one and two. I also felt like there were a lot of repetitive elements in book two. I enjoyed reading more about Alana and Alejandro and like the addition of Lucy and the new dynamic they found but it felt a bit forced compared to book one. I still enjoyed it, the spice was very present 😉, and the story continues well. It wraps up Alana and Alejandro’s story and sets up Lucy’s story well.

As always, check for TW’s and happy reading!
