He won our hearts in book #2 when he was checking up on Tyler’s 17 year old sister, taught her how to drive and helped her with her grades. In this book, Jade, Scarlett’s best friend from book #1, is under pressure from her boss to write better articles for their magazine. In a panic she tells her boss that she’s engaged and she can write articles about the process of getting married. Her boyfriend wasn’t thrilled but agreed…until the night before the wedding. Enter Declan, who has always held a little spark for Jade. They enter into a fake marriage with an agreement to be in it for a year. They actually consummate their marriage on their wedding night and it just goes uphill from there. If you want a “he fell first” book, this is it!

A cute hockey romance with a wonderful marriage of convenience, a pierced MMC who will do anything for his friends, a FMC with a huge work ethic and a friend group I would love to be apart of!
