I thought the pace of the story was pretty good. The one thing that rubbed me the wrong way is how Erika describes her son, Liam and the fact that she is quick to assume things. Besides this, I thought that this book was pretty good, overall. I also did not expect the way things ended up in the end. I was led to believe one way but then when I came around to the plot twist, I was taken aback. That part was completely unexpected.all1_b's review against another edition

It is a super fast read which earns bonus points from me and the plot is constantly moving which keeps you on your toes.
I love the multiple POVs and short chapters as well as the interview format of certain chapters!
The story felt unique and the plot twists were AMAZING as always!
I’ve seen some people say that they could predict the end but personally that was not the case! I thought I knew how it would end but of course was wrong and loved the twists! Also the very very end! Ahh! I didn’t see anything coming and it was definitely a different story than I thought it would be which made it exciting!
Would highly recommend to any fans of psychological thrillers or any Freida McFadden fans! Definitely a fave of hers for me!
