I've read a few books from this author but missed all of these when they came out, so I took the opportunity to read the collection. It starts with Don't Mess With Jess which I wanted to like more than I actually did. I loved the premise and liked Mac but I found Jess to be manipulative, snarky and selfish. I just couldn't warm to her. Hannah and Hawk was next and I really enjoyed this story. I loved being privy to some of Hawk's thoughts. However, it didn't really touch on the impact of the relationship on Hawk's son, and there was a subplot with an outside character that looked like it could become something, but ultimately went nowhere. Totally Tori was an enjoyable read. Neither of the characters really grabbed me but it was a likeable story. The collection finishes with Kelly's Haven and this was the perfect story to finish with. It is a strong story full of emotion and drama and a super satisfying HEA. But, that character from Hannah and Hawk pops again with potential for at least a subplot before disappearing again.
