I loved this collection of stories about love & loss. When I had a NYT subscription, I read them here and there. The 4.5 star rating isn’t for the stories as those are real life experiences, but for the lack of diversity within the collection. Everyone was a writer, author, editor, etc. Where are the people who have other occupations? I think there were only 3 stories with two teachers & a VP. I would have like to read about people with different jobs as they also fall in and out of love, but that’s just me🤷🏾♀️

At the end of the day, Love is Love, in all its complicated wonderful ness. And I am nothing, if not a sucker for love.

Of course some stories are better than others, but it's a very good and bittersweet selection, very emotional. It really shows love in all its ways, it gives you hope back in humanity.
