This audio play was very well acted, but the writing was only so so with very little plot.

The action of A King's Speech takes place on Coronation Day, 12th May 1937, and deals with King George VI's preparations for his evening BBC Radio broadcast to the Nation - a terrifying prospect for perhaps the most notable Briton to have suffered from a stammer.

This was a short BBC production rather than a long audiobook. It was well-written, excellently presented, and captivating. I enjoyed listening to it and I'm excited to get a book about the event.
