Lots of humans detrimental effects on the environment, and very short snippets of images and scenes of nature. Toward the end lots of personal poems about her dogs and the history of a place (her parents and her vineyard). Overall many poems felt too internally tenuous. Many began with images or had images throughout but then didn't connect to the final sentence that tried to bring in larger ideas or some philosophy. Overall, a frustrating read with only a couple of whole poems that I would come back to.
