I really liked the basic slow cooker information from the first pages. I appreciated the list of helpful utensils and appliances to assist in a successful meal, followed by a list of basic ingredients to have on hand. Also helpful, the reminder to take care by reading through the recipe twice and gather all the ingredients, then begin cooking.
I'm a frequent crock pot cooker that rarely uses any recipe and just throws in what I have on hand. This book has a variety of recipes with meals I've never made and look forward to preparing for my family.
