This book is just so sweet! I became entirely invested in Hannah and Nathaniel's story and absolutely did not want to put it down.

Hannah has had a rough past and is in need of some extra income. Nathaniel is a wealthy gentleman desperate to escape his aunt's attempts at matchmaking. After a chance meeting, they strike up an agreement that will benefit both of them. It's fake dating - regency style - and I am here for it!

Hannah's joy and appreciation for things in life, despite her difficult situation, is inspiring and absolutely contagious. She is so easy to root for! Nathaniel is reasonably proud of his station and cares deeply for his friends and family, but lacks purpose, direction, and that extra spark in life. His gradual transformation and the softening of his guarded exterior had me grinning ear to ear! I was a total cheese ball for the majority of this book! 😁

Miranda's writing has this way of totally sucking me in! It is well-paced and beautifully descriptive. If you're looking for a quick, totally heartwarming and smile-inducing regency romance, I'd definitely recommend trying this one!
