Probably closer to a 3.5 stars for me, but I rounded up. There were still some poems about love / romance that I didn't really connect with, but I definitely liked this poetry collection more than "Milk & Honey."
Lines like this from "productivity anxiety" most resonated with me:
"i have this productivity anxiety
that everyone else is working harder than me
and i’m going to be left behind
cause i’m not working fast enough
long enough
and i’m wasting my time"

This is a very accessible, easy-to-read collection if you're looking to get into poetry!

Pros:
-The themes touched by this book are super current and need to be spoken about. The long poems and the ones about migration and aging were my faves.
-Nice aesthetic.

Cons:
- It did not feel deep enough. It fell short on feelings and sometimes I felt like I have read those texts somewhere else before.
- The one line poems sounded like titles and had me wanting more.

This is my fav book by Rupi Kaur so far. I hated [b:Milk and Honey|23513349|Milk and Honey|Rupi Kaur|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1491595510l/23513349._SY75_.jpg|43116473] and [b:The Sun and Her Flowers|35606560|The Sun and Her Flowers|Rupi Kaur|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1499791446l/35606560._SY75_.jpg|57044162] so much but this one was slightly better.
