This is probably the millionth time I've read this book, but I just love it. Judith Krantz is my favorite trash novelist and this is likely my favorite book of hers. They all involve ridiculously wealthy people that are ridiculously beautiful and have a ridiculous amount of sex. The perfect bathtub book.

Maxi Amberville is the beautiful, spoiled daughter of publishing magnate Zachary Amberville. When he dies suddenly, his legacy is about to be upended by his vengeful brother, Cutter. Enter Maxi.

I really just loved this book. It reminded me of Jackie Collins but slightly less raunchy and a bit less dated for whatever reason. I read it on the beach and it was exactly what I was looking for. Lighthearted, just a little bit trashy, but with a good enough plot to keep me very entertained.

I'm excited to read her others.

A fun read with a good ending almost all the way round. Wish she'd done another installment with these characters as she did with Scruples.

It's the first Judith Krantz book I've read, and it's still my favourite.
Maxi is a great characters, but J.Krantz let the other characters live, and I like Toby, Justin,Zachary, Rocco, India, and Maxi two ex-husbands.
I like a lot the bond between the three sibling and their bad feeling about their uncle.
The way Maxi succeeded although she doesn't have a lot of experience is fun to read, as much as Toby and India first's meeting.

---------------
I re-read it in english, as the first time I had read it in a french translated way.
I realize that all the sex scenes have been censored in the translation, and also the tone /the way of talking of several characters are different.
It's the best Judith Krantz's book
