This poignant, powerful book made me think, laugh, cry, and when it was over, I was mad that I had reached the end. Anyone who has followed Dingle on social media will be familiar with her frank, courageous vulnerability and her refusal to tidy up her experiences for the sake of appearances. In Living Brave, she demonstrates that same generosity and commitment to telling the whole brutiful truth. No one should have to endure as much as she has, but if anyone is entitled to writing a book on how to make it through terrible things and come out the other side still holding on to your humanity and the best parts of yourself, it's her. This book is a gift.
