I found this book useful in parts. It outlines lots of problems with the way diagnoses are made and how things often go wrong. Also that support is patchy, especially for individuals who "seem" to function well according to PNT criteria. However, apart from just hanging in there and being persistant, I didn't find it that useful in terms of where to turn to get practical help. Some of the lived experiences at the end were truly harrowing.

This book was very cisnormative (which I guess is pretty straightforward from the title). My main issue was that in articulating the experiences of AFAB autistic people, it continued the stigma against BPD, especially when talking about misdiagnosis.
