Wow!! Wonderful book about Elizabeth Packard. What an incredible woman and life. Ms. Moore is a great writer. I couldn’t put the book down. Thank you for reintroducing this amazing woman to the world.

Kate Moore’s writing is beautiful. I am usually one for fantasy, but the way she writes histories is unlike others I’ve heard before. It’s inspiring to hear the life, challenges and accomplishments of Elizabeth Packard, her work must be remembered.

Wow. The other reviews on this book are more than accurate. I am angry and frustrated. If you want to read a book about intelligent women being shut down and horrible men being celebrated just because of their gender, along with a heroically motivation woman who made a dent, be it small, into the injustices that have plagued women for all time, this is the book for you.

This is definitely a book with a lot of information and history thrown in there so it can seem like information overload at times. I think this is a very interesting story about a courageous woman who never gave up, even when things seemed hopeless. We can all only hope to be as brave and determined as her in our lives!
