Unnecessary sad. ARGHHHH so heartbreaking but has a very beautiful plot twist.

I keep falling in love with this series.

This was a very gripping volume that changed a great deal of the status quo.

I am only half sure of what is going on at this point, but at the very least I'm enjoying the ride. At least we're finally back into the thick of things, and the story is moving at a good pace now. I wish I didn't have the sinking feeling that Hoshino isn't going to explain as many things as I'd like once the series is over - which, honestly, could come in the next five or so volumes, if she wanted to.

I am glad that my local library got a copy, so I went there, took a seat and read it within an hour. I do believe this issue opens a new story arc, after the protagonist (Allen) left the order behind forever. Also this volume introduced a new character that maybe a big antagonist in later chapters.

I am looking forward to reading the next volume.

Allen is forced to make a decision when once again faced by an impossible enemy. I really wish they just stuck to the politics of the war rather than making increasingly powerful enemies for them to fight to fill pages.
