this was my first mafia wlw romance and i loved it so much!! siobhan, the heir to a mob she doesn't want to be in, is married off to the heir of their rival gang until she decides to take matters into her own hands by running away. nessa, from said rival gang, is then put in charge of hunting down siobhan and bringing her back to their home. nessa thinks that siobhan is a spoiled princess but soon figures out how wrong she is once she's put on 'babysitting' duties, making it more difficult to hate her. i LOVED seeing the typical 'male/female' mafia dynamics but with two females, and also loved seeing the switches in dynamic where siobhan (the more submissive one) would be more dominant and nessa (the more dominant one) submissive. the smut in this book was so HOT and the church scene omg?!?! but also seeing both of them being soft and holding hands and just wanting to be near each other was so

I didn't know anything about this book. Went it blind and fell in love. This is my first sapphic dark romance book. Honestly, I enjoyed it and it was a great read. The characters are quite well written, but I would've preferred their process to be attracted to each other were to be more flushed out. I am curious to what truly sparked the initial attraction towards each other.
