Best in the series so far! It is set years later, Mui is 7 now. Sei has not given up hope of finding of her, but is stuck trying to find someone still alive who can help. Then she remembers the one person who could provide her with information - only getting to him will be a very difficult endeavour.

We get to know Mui in this book, and see how she has been living all this time.
This was a great read! Each book is better than the last.

I actually read the first 2. I got this one for the 3rd for free. Great book again. Less action, more suspense, another cliffhanger. Great use of mood, again. 4 stars to raise the bar, really a 5 compared to the majority of what's out there.

Note: the human trafficking theme is presented lightly, and no gory assassination scenes here.
