I love anything Erin does! Her bouquets are amazing! Her pictures are gorgeous! And her directions for replicating her arrangements are inspiring! I can't wait to get her new dahlia book Tuesday!

WHOA. If you have even the smallest interest in flowers, or you are like me and just go gaga when you see amazing arrangements, this book is a real delight. I want to rush out to my closest local flower farm right now and just buy armfuls! It's also VERY cool that she takes us behind the curtain and shows how to actually make those out-of-this-world arrangements, complete with lists of tools, tips and flower instruction. Do yourself a favor and take a moment to stop and smell the FLOWERS(ha ha!) in this gorgeous book!

A Year in Flowers is a charming, lovely and relaxing read, perfect for all with even the tiniest interest in flowers and all things beautiful. I adore Erin Benzakein's passion and spirit and it comes through wonderfully in this book, even though it is filled with more photographs than words.

I did enjoy her first book, [b:Cut Flower Garden|30842387|Cut Flower Garden|Erin Benzakein|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1482176251l/30842387._SX50_.jpg|51441753], more than this one; perhaps due to the fact that this book delved primarily on the topic of flower arranging and not just growing as the first book did. I enjoyed it immensely however, and highly recommend it.
