After seeing this book make its rounds on social media, I finally caved.
And what a great idea that was.
Maxx Reynolds needs a helping hand with his motorcycle business and so he places an online ad for the position. He gets a response from someone named Charly, a person who he fully expected to be a man from the name alone. Lo and behold, Charly is actually "Charlynn", a fiery redhead escaping from a repulsive landlord and a woman who will unexpectedly bring much needed sunshine to his life.
I loved this!!! The fact that I was excited to pick this up after a long day says so much of my love for it. It was pretty low on the angst yet it brought that grumpy sunshine dynamic that I didn't I desperately craved at the moment. The characters were easy to love and root for and they definitely brought the swoon and heat that I wanted to see. (I mean who doesn't love a grumpy man giving in to his woman while still being grumpy? And caretaking? Yes please!)
This was also a perfect introduction to this mechanic/restoration company and the stories of the next characters who will be put in the spotlight. The other men already seem so sweet and I can't wait to see them in action in their own romances!
If you see this book in people's TBRs and/or wrap ups with very high ratings, I'm telling you that it's there for a good reason. Go give this book a chance because it's worth the hype!
