Havent had a laugh like this a while about a book. Like full on belly laugh about that Mark and Cam conversation.
Maybe it was not in my alley this time, but all and all good book. Only thing that was very annoying was all the crying, mostly done by Lucy, but indeed too much is too much.

My favourite!
I was so excited to finally get to Cam and Lucy’s story, and it was more than I ever thought possible! I laughed out loud so many times, my heart broke into a million pieces, and then it healed better than it was before.

Wow. This was amazing. I laughed and laughed more than any other book. My heart swelled, then my heart was destroyed, and then I found HOPE again. Cam and Lucy were great together too. I love how Cam never gave up and kept fighting for Lucy. There were some pretty unrealistic scenes with TMI shared with the parents and made me roll my eyes like the drs office scene, but besides that I loved this book. It’s not 5 stars for me because I don’t like crying so much and having my heart literally ache. But Jay McLean is the Queen of the feels. All the feels.

Let me start off by saying "More Than Forever" is my ABSOLUTE favorite book in this series! I felt every single emotion Lucy and Cam felt. I could feel the loss they went through. Everything... everything was perfect with this.
This is the beautiful and tragic story of Lucy and Cam. Their story begins as Lucy's mother is dying of cancer. Her dad is so distraught that she is left to raise her six little brother (that's right, SIX.) Cam decides to step in and help after seeing her struggle as he coaches for the twins. He loved her right away, though she did push him away.
She loves books, all kinds of them. I think I love that the most. And she is just so apologetically herself. I wish I could say their love story was perfect and filled of complete happiness all the time, but that wouldn't make it real, now would it?
They go through these events that felt so real, as if they were happening to myself or someone I love. I cried right along side them. It broke my heart in two, that's how much I felt it. But love conquers all and they found their way back home to each other. Their happy ending... its the one I needed. The one to give me hope that love really is possible.

Well that was a disappointment. I was so thrilled to be reading about Cam and Lucy...but this isn't what I expected.
1. This book covers about 6 years, from when they first met until a year after they're married. So a lot was crammed into the book.
2. Logan was barely in the book. As in practically not at all. And him and Lucy are supposed to have some super great friendship. I don't see it. This book only focuses on Lucy and Cam, no one else. This is kind of expected seeing as their relationship spans out between 6 years, so the author clearly wants as much Cam/Lucy time as possible.
3. In addition to the point above, none of their other friends were really in the book either.
4. Cam was a jerk.
5. A really big jerk.
6. I liked their relationship better in the other books...when it actually wasn't totally focused on them. This whole book was just a major disappointment and it was hella depressing as well. Ugh. I'm just done. Logan and Amanda were the best part of the series.
Before reading: I haven't even read the third book yet. But Lucy and Cam? Yes. Yes.

SPOILER ALERT.
I love Cam and Lucy. (Not as much as Jake and Micky, but still!) I did think although that their story was long. It could of done without so much detail. I understand they had a perf relationship with all their time consumed with one another; I get it. Besides the everlasting explanation of that, bravo. The ending leaves you wondering if they end up conceiving or not. (I really hope they can!)

Emotionally Griping. Jay has done it again! She has torn out our hearts and stitched them back together. I have Loved Lucy since I first read about her in the other books in this series. This book takes you back to her beginning, tells you her story. You better prepare yourself because you will not be ready. Hell I have read this book several times and I every time I reread it, I'm still not ready. Lucy is so incredibly strong. She goes through heartache and loss at such a young age and she doesn't get to stop and cope because she has to grow up rather quickly to take care of her brothers. Luckily Cam is there, Cam is the perfect Book Boyfriend... so perfect he gives Jake Andrews a run for his money. Cam is there for Lucy, he has such a big heart. He is also wiser than his 15 years. He becomes Lucy's rock, her strength. Cam takes care of Lucy when she is too busy trying to take care of everyone else. "No one takes care of me. No one. Not even dad. He can't even take care of himself." This is so much more than a love story. Cam and Lucy's love is truly spectacular. It's so much more than Forever. I feel like out of all the characters of this series I connect the most with Lucy. She is my Spirit animal.. seriously. She is always reading, trying to escape in the pages of a book to get away from everything happening around her. And drunk Lucy... Ha! Drunk Lucy is just too much! I don't think I have ever laughed so much. This story really is everything. There is so much heartache and devastation but there is also so much humor and Love. The way Cam loves Lucy is so completely, so unconditionally, it's so raw. "He's fierce.".."Yeah. The way he cares for me- the way he protects me. It's fierce. He's fierce". This is one of those stories that stays in your heart. It consumes you and will always be in the back of your mind. I highly recommend reading this book! You will not be disappointed.

I’m here for it! After reading Lucas’ story first on KU I later found out there was a whole series before so back I went. I wanted to know more about Lucy’s & Cameron’s story. Not gonna lie I was annoyed to discover they were book 4.
This got me out of my reading slump & have since become a fan of Jay McLean. Early 20s me would have loved this series even more than today.
Truthfully I only read the other books just to get to Lucy & Cam’s story. I wanted to skip the rest just to get here but everyone kept saying to read them in order so I did. It was worth it.
Book 1 - Micky & Jake was not a fan tbh
Book 2 & 3 - Logan & Amanda frustrating but better
Book 4 - These two are the cutest ♡♡ it was refreshing to read about a couple who share many first together over the years. Although I was devastated when Roxy came into the picture followed by they’re own little heartache & their future.
I would recommend this series. Maybe skip book 1 ? I don’t know. But for my fellow Colleen Hoover Fans who loved her early stuff too like Slammed and Ugly love then you probably may enjoy this one too.
I don’t know if I’ll read book 5. Too much & I haven’t been that invested in Heidi and Dylan.
