I read this board book because it is illustrated by [a:Pamela Zagarenski|151356|Pamela Zagarenski|http://www.goodreads.com/assets/nophoto/nophoto-U-50x66-251a730d696018971ef4a443cdeaae05.jpg] and I LOVE her work. While this doesn't appeal to my senses as much as [b:Sleep Like A Tiger|13429619|Sleep Like a Tiger|Mary Logue|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1344607783s/13429619.jpg|18920341] does, there is still something different about her style. The colors seem to melt together in a warm glow. The fact that this book contains bilingual phrases emphasizes the universal commonalities we have.
