There's much about the plot of this book that starts to feel ridiculously implausible if you think about it too long, but it is an exciting read with a likable main character and a lot of twists and turns along the way.

An eerie read, and downright creepy! I thought it was fantastic, and the ending had a great twist. A short, quick thriller - not for the faint of heart though.

I'm strugglung with a comment on this one
Everything I want to say will include some spoiler, so I just won't say anything much. You kind of have to suspend belief a little, then maybe you could see this happening.

This is a great suspense book focusing on what happens in the aftermath of the abduction of a group of women. Instead of focusing on how they mearly cope with everything, Zan also incorporates other mysteries that relate to how and why they were taken. Part of the ending I found to be surprising, which is hard to find. I'd give this a 3.5 if I could - it takes a lot for me to give 4's and 5's.

not great. Too many tidy endings to make it a good story and too many details that were only present to create shock value.

50 Shades of Meh and an attempt at a Gyllian Flynn twist that I called within the first few pages. Quick read, wasn't the worst thing I've read. But wasn't captivating, either. There were many plot points along the way that I was expecting a Flynn twist, but the author failed to deliver. That took my rating from 3 stars to two.

This book sucked me in quickly, and it was a very fast read. I did not expect the outcome of one of the characters which really surprised me, however I feel as though the ending was incomplete. I feel as thought I am left hanging as to what happened or where the other girls are, unless of course there is a sequel coming. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

I'm not usually caught off-guard by suspenseful lead-ups in books that give the reader the clues necessary to figure them out; however, I think that this book was subtle enough to both create suspense and question without easily leaving the answers out to find. Also, the book takes the time to cast doubt on most of the guesses I could make, and I love that I was second guessing myself until the end. Amazingly good story, complicated on multiple levels. Not your average thriller, I highly recommend.

Very dark and twisted. I found this hard to put down. It did become slow in parts but for a first novel it is brilliant. I cannot wait for the next book!

I liked this book at the beginning, but then it got a little farfetched towards the middle. definitely grips you.
