WOW I find it hard to believe that Fern wrote this book it was just horrible in my opinion. I was bored and HATED the way it was written it annoyed me more times than not. So over the top unbelievable at times too. This will be the very last Sisterhood book I read she should have left it alone when she "ended" it with the last book. I hate when authors do this they always wind up ruining a good thing!!

I love the Sisterhood series, but this one was not a favorite. I loved Julie's story but felt this book was less sisterhood and more Myra and Annie out on their own. Something that has always bothered me about Fern Michael's books are the way that all the characters use the same type of speech all the time. People from Virginia and people from Alabama have their own mannerisms and sayings, they don't all use the same jargon and that doesn't show through (which I feel is always the case). This book seemed more violent than the previous ones (with the exception of the Chinese guy) so that didn't seem true to previous sisterhood style either.
I don't know that I like the idea of the second string at all. I love the characters from the sisterhood in the beginning not just the vigilante concept so we will see how that works out for me in the next book.

Another series that should have ended several books ago.

A very exciting book but a little unbelievable with all that happened. Some of the scenes were violent but not overly bloody. Not hard to imagine that the women could be so calmly vindictive. Just some of the other elements seemed a little far fetched. This is the last in a series. It can stand alone but would probably be helpful to read others in the series to know the relationship of all the returning characters.

The ladies are back...the "older" ladies that is! The guys join in at the end. Obviously don't want to give anything away.
I did miss having "the girls" & Charles more involved, the "plan" was a little hit or miss/over the top feeling, reminded me of book 1.
That said, I was thrilled to have the "Sisterhood" new series happening :)

So much fun to be back with the Sisterhood. It's been quite a few years since I read any of these. My mother introduced me to the series and her passing made me want to see what the vigilantes have been up to. Really enjoyed this!
