This is like A Series of Unfortunate Events meets Once Upon a Time. Humans and 'Everafters' aka fairytale characters live side by side but the characters don't age while humans do. The Sisters are descendants of the Grimm Brothers. The whole premise of Grimm Brothers stories being documentation rather than fairytales made up is fantastic.

This one was so fun. Jumping through the stories reminded me of the part of Ready Player One where they are in a classic movie as one of the main characters.

Quite sad at this book, as it seemed like it would have been my favourite but found it a let down to the series... picked up towards the end though. Looking forward to reading the finale as looking to see how this series ends. Who will survive?

This story was a crazy ride and I had a lot of fun! I especially enjoyed Sabrina’s and Puck’s banter, they are weirdly a very shippable pairing….

I am enjoying my reread of the Sisters Grimm series; however, I nearly gave up simply for the fact I’m ready to be in a different fictional world. I’m glad I did not stop my reread.

The 8th book of this series is completely unlike the others. It almost is like breaking or revealing the fourth wall in the stories. I enjoyed the twist and take.

However, if you’re focused on the war going on in Ferryport then this book is like one giant interlude. It is necessary to understand the Master and his plan, but you’re taken away from Ferryport Landing entirely.

There is further character development in the main trio (Sabrina, Daphne, and Puck).  I will definitely continue on and finish this series.
