In diesem kurzem Roman, der genauso gut eine Erzählung hätte sein können, stecken mehr Geheimnisse als in vielen Gesamtwerken. Obwohl der Hauptcharakter die Hälfte des Buches über sein Leben und seine Frau jammert.
