The Blind Owl is without doubt one of the most significant and remarkable pieces of the Persian literature. Hedayat's outstanding ability to turn his most complicated thoughts into a rather strange but also powerful story is quite admirable.

What a let down. A book advertised as Iranian literary genius was really just about an incel sort of man killing his wife. Interesting writing but such a boring and unnecessary plot.
