This book really struck a chord with me with regards to relationships and how tricky they can be. I really felt emotional reading it and just generally a connection to the characters and the plot. However.... I was really dissapointed in the ending. When I put the book down (or kindle in this case) I felt deflated like the story didn't get the time on the ending it deserved. It was so far from the rest of the plot I just couldn't connect with it.

I have read every one of Dorothy Koomsons books and will continue to do so, I love the way she writes.

From the very start this story is gripping with many unexpected twists and turns. It kept me guessing throughout.

I was debating between 3 or 4 stars because I found the ending disappointing. Without giving too much away I didn't find the whodunit very believable.

It was enjoyable from start to finish and I loved the different character perspectives and flashbacks. It was a good character driven drama with crime elements. I very much doubt that it will be the last Dorothy Koomson novel I read.

Really loved this book. I didn't like a few of Dorothy Koomson's books but this one has definitely won me over.
